Since 2008, the “Quatuor pour la fin du temps” by Olivier Messiaen has been performed annually on January 15th, on the day and place of its premiere in the theater barracks of Stalag VIII A in 1941. This year visual artist Jan Bilk will add light and color to the concert. In the form of light installations, he finds ways to work and composers who bathe the site in a new light. The ensemble is made up of the most promising young musicians of their generation, including ARD award winners and sought-after soloists.
